Leather executive chair and other upholstery
The most common material selected for executive chairs is leather, or mock leather, as leather provides comfort and high-end style. More often than not, the base of an executive chair is chrome, because chrome also offers that higher-end look. Some customers choose a black or aluminum base, however.
High back executive chair
There are multiple options for the height of the back of the chair: high-back, mid-back, and low-back. Mid-back or high-back executive chairs are the most common choices. Executive chairs have the option of a mesh back, but that is not a common choice. Although they are not as popular now, there are still more traditional executive chairs that can feature Queen Anne carved legs, button-tufted upholstery, and nail-head trim.
Executive chair with arm rests
As executive chairs often seat people for hours every day, they are designed to support the natural curve of the spine and provide maximum comfort. Some executive chairs can also have a head rest option, for maximum neck support and comfort.
